How Much

I love
What I do not know;
I learn
What I cannot teach;
I am
What others cannot see
Or touch
Or feel.
I cry,
But they do not hear;
I smile,
But they care not why;
I laugh,
But they never understand
The joke or dare
To try.
I dance,
But they feel no rhythm;
I'm real,
But they never notice;
I hide,
But they know not where.
I am
Alone.
