Curfews and the "buddy system" severely cramped my style. I must go again some day... on my own terms. I took a driving tour of Eastern Canada (Ontario & Quebec) with my folks in the summer of 1991. It's a bit strange to realize how much the landscape looks like home - very green and comfortably warm in the summer & full of endless beautiful open spaces. For those of you who might think the Midwest has no beauty, you just didn't know where to look. I'll show you what I saw through my eyes... chasing storms and rainbows across "amber waves of grain." |
